SENSe Project Manager: SENSe Implement and SENSe CONNECT
Irene is a project manager, medical researcher and molecular biologist. She completed her PhD from The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in 2001 and continued her neuroscience research until 2004. Following her academic appointments, she worked in the public sector within a forensic laboratory and then within the pharmaceutical industry. In her pharmaceutical role, she successfully led two key antibody therapeutic projects which cumulated to patents. She has returned to neuroscience research and is currently the project manager for the NHMRC funded SENSe Partnership study.
